Carol B. Powell

is a Georgia-licensed, Atlanta-based attorney who has represented clients in most counties of the greater Atlanta metropolitan area for more than 25 years.  She specializes in all areas of Family Law, including divorce and custody, and in Probate Law involving family issues. She also represents clients with personal injuries.

Emory University School of Law – Juris Doctor 

A native of suburban Chicago, Ms. Powell moved to Atlanta, Georgia after her college graduation.  While raising three children, she received her legal education at Emory School of Law and began her law practice after admission to the Georgia Bar in 1983.

 

Carol Powell taught for many years in the Emory Law School Kessler-Eidson Trial Techniques Program (formerly NITA).  She has spoken at family law seminars for paralegals and has spoken on family and probate issues to numerous business, academic and civic groups.
